01. The Challenge
02. The Solution
A structured and methodical strip-out strategy was implemented to safely and efficiently remove all existing installations.
Key elements of the solution included:
Phased removal of all market stalls and partitions
Safe isolation and removal of mechanical and electrical services
Controlled sequencing of works to protect the base building
Efficient waste management to maintain a clean and safe site
Regular coordination meetings were held with the landlord and managing agent to ensure transparency, approvals, and programme alignment at each stage.
Health & safety was prioritised throughout the project, with strict controls in place to manage risks associated with live environments and large-scale strip-out works.
SOFO delivered a fully immersive VR attraction within our Family Entertainment Centre, meeting tight timescales without compromising quality. Their understanding of live leisure environments made them a trusted delivery partner from start to finish... – Client
03. The Result
The project successfully delivered a fully stripped, shell-condition unit, providing a clean and compliant base for the fit-out of a trampoline and activity theme park within the temporary Public Market in Warrington.
The outcome achieved:
Complete removal of all market stalls and services
A clear, unobstructed shell ready for redevelopment
Full compliance with landlord requirements
Zero health & safety incidents during delivery
A collaborative and trusted working relationship with the landlord and managing agent
This project demonstrates the capability to deliver large-scale strip-out works in live leisure environments, while maintaining safety, programme control, and stakeholder confidence.
