01. The Challenge
This project involved transforming an empty shell into a fully operational Trampoline Park, incorporating rock climbing walls, dedicated party rooms and a café facility. The primary challenge was logistical: the unit had no ground-floor access and no service lift, meaning all materials, equipment and specialist installations had to be transported from ground level up to the unit floor. This required careful planning to avoid disruption to the live retail environment and to maintain programme efficiency, while coordinating closely with Centre Management and the landlord’s property and asset management teams.
02. The Solution
Acting as the principal contractor, we provided all trades to deliver the full fit out. A detailed logistics strategy was developed, utilising a telehandler lift plan to safely and efficiently move materials to unit level. Works were carefully sequenced to maintain site safety and minimise impact on neighbouring units. Close collaboration with Centre Management and the landlord ensured compliance with access restrictions, working hours and centre protocols, while our coordinated trade management ensured seamless installation of structural elements, specialist finishes and café infrastructure.
Despite significant access and logistics constraints, SOFO managed the project with professionalism and clear communication throughout. 03. The Result
The result is a vibrant, fully fitted Trampoline Park destination, delivered safely and efficiently despite complex access constraints. The venue now offers an engaging mix of high-energy activity zones, climbing walls, party spaces and a welcoming café, creating a family-focused leisure destination. Through meticulous planning, clear communication and hands-on delivery, the project was completed to a high standard, demonstrating our ability to overcome logistical challenges and deliver complex leisure fit outs within live retail environments.
